Our Outplacement Programmes

Exiting an employee from your business is tough for everyone involved – line managers, HR and, most of all, the exiting employee.  In order for the process to happen as positively and smoothly as possible, it is a good idea to offer the exiting employee some support in transitioning from your organisation.

At Dynami Careers, we are experts in career transition.  We understand the emotional issues that will arise for the employee as well as what they need to be thinking about and doing from a practical perspective in order to secure a new job.

Flexible Outplacement Programmes

We understand that budgets vary and we take time with our corporate clients to understand your budget, how many employees are at risk and at what levels.  We then craft a solution that fits your requirements and offers the best possible employee experience.

We have outlined a few potential programmes below for illustrative purposes. 

Executive Programme

This programme builds the individual’s confidence in all aspects of a job search.  It has been designed to cover all the needs of the individual when making this transition. We support the emotional needs of the individual as well as offer practical support in interview technique, marketing and networking. 

All sessions are 1-2-1 with a coach and are 90 minutes in length:

  • Session 1 – this session reflects on career to-date.  Using a career-timeline approach, we identify career highlights and start to identify strengths.
  • Session 2 – this session focuses on identifying personal values and looking at their alignment to the individual’s past, current and future career.  We will also start to identify desirable role categories and sectors.
  • CV – our experts in CV writing will review the CV and offer recommendations for improvements. This will also look to incorporate the identified strengths and values where appropriate.
  • Session 3 – this session focuses on how to market a CV and maximise networks.  This session will look at online networks including LinkedIn, how to network in person and how to manage your relationship with headhunters.
  • Session 4 – a highly practical session practising interview skills.  The interview practice will be a mixture of competency, strengths based and CV based questions.  The coach will provide immediate feedback to help the individual hone their technique.
  • Session 5 – during this session the individual will create an action plan for their job search and create strategies to ensure they achieve the plan.
  • Follow up – Following the final session, we will organise two half hour catch-up meetings via phone or Skype to review progress.

Indicative cost: £3,000 per person

Employee Programme

This delivers the content of the full career transition for a non-managerial role.  It has been designed to cover all the needs of the individual when making this transition.  We support the emotional needs of the individual as well as offer practical support in interview technique, marketing and networking. 

All sessions are 1-2-1 with a coach and are 90 minutes in length.  This programme offers three sessions with flexible content which could cover some or all of:

  • Identify career highlights and strengths
  • Identify personal values and look at alignment to the individual’s career
  • Identify desirable role categories and sectors
  • How to market a CV and maximise networks
  • How to use LinkedIn and connect with relevant recruiters
  • Interview practice using a mix of competency, strengths based and CV based questions
  • Job search strategy

In addition, our coach with work with the individual to create a winning CV – our experts in CV writing will review the CV and offer recommendations for improvements.  This will also look to incorporate the identified strengths and values where appropriate.

Indicative cost: £1,500 per person

NEW IN 2020 - MAKE IT HAPPEN PROGRAMME

We have a new offering in 2020 which is a group coaching membership subscription available to corporates to purchase between 2 and 6 months membership for individuals.

This is a highly interactive online programme that consists of:

  • Weekly training
  • Fortnightly group coaching
  • Resource library
  • Online community support with other job seekers

Indicative cost: £500 - £1,500 per person

Other Corporate Programmes

If you are exiting more than one employee, you may want to offer a group programme
in order to be cost-effective.

One day clinics

If you have several exiting employees, you may want to offer them all one-to-one career transition coaching.  The programme can be tailored to be between three or six 90 minute sessions per person.  Our consultants can conduct up to four 90 minute sessions per day on your premises.

Indicative cost: £2,250 per day

Career Transition Workshop

This is a full day workshop that can be attended by up to 10 exiting employees.  Run by our experienced facilitators, this workshop covers:

  • Identifying strengths and values (pre-work)
  • How to create a winning CV (layout, what to include, what not to include)
  • How to deal with and handle headhunters and recruitment agencies
  • Online networking –how to use LinkedIn to raise your profile
  • In person networking (if level appropriate) – how to develop skills to raise your profile in person
    Interview tips and techniques
  • Action plan –creating an action plan for the job search and creating strategies to ensure it is carried out.

Indicative cost: £3,000 per workshop
